Box squats for posterior chain


Back into box squats. Posterior chain day for me is all about building a back of steel. Along with glutes, hamstrings and hips.

In powerbuilding style I split the training session into 2. I box squat and then work on my hamstrings/lower back/glutes etc. Lots of volume.

Here is some footage of me box squatting today. 305 kg plus 40 kg of chains. The box is quite high as I ease back into things. My focus is on breaking my PB of 315 plus chains. And I really want to trap bar deadlift 400 kg in the short term. Building a back of steel.
