5X5 Squats

Simon and James have just begun training. They are following a 5×5 approach to the big 3 lifts. These guys won’t mind me saying that they are not the most athletic guys you will meet. They are both tall and lean and not made to lift. When they first began they could barely squat the bar and not very well. Their technique and strength is going ahead in leaps and bounds. This is very satisfying as they are both so keen as well. What they lack in natural ability they counter with determination and willingness to be taught. It really goes to show that strength training is for everyone.
